About Elizabeth Poliner
Elizabeth Poliner is the author of the new novel Spinning at the Edges, which was recently released by Harper Books. Her novel As Close to Us as Breathing won the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize in Fiction and was a finalist for the Library of Virginia People’s Choice Award in fiction and for Hadassah Magazine’s Ribalow Prize for Jewish-themed fiction. She has also published a poetry collection, What You Know in Your Hands, and a novel-in-stories, Mutual Life & Casualty. Her stories and poems have appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Sun, TriQuarterly, the Michigan Quarterly Review, Story, and Colorado Review, among other journals. She’s been a fellow at MacDowell, Yaddo, the Wurlitzer Foundation, and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts.
About Sally Wiener Grotta
The host of Judith Magazine’s Tell Me More, Sally Wiener Grotta (she/her), is an award-winning writer, photographer, and speaker. Her most recent book is Daughters of Eve (Bayit Publishing), an essay-based discussion workbook and journaling guide that mines the tales of biblical female archetypes to explore modern life, concerns, and crises. She is also the author of Jo Joe (a Jewish Book Council network novel), Of Being Woman (a collection of feminist science fiction) and The Winter Boy (a political fantasy, on Locus Magazine’s annual list of recommended books).
