I will just wait and see what happens but maybe the author can check with the press and clarify if preorders are even possible. I paid...but there was no indication of shipping charge nor any confirmation of receipt of the order. Too bad.
If you ordered it directly from U of Arkansas Press I imagine that your order went through. I don't know that much about it, but I think a big university press should be reliable. Good luck!
